長期穩(wěn)定性長期穩(wěn)定性可以用老化率表示.我們選取了同樣頻率的石英振蕩器和MEMS振蕩器在122天(2928小時(shí))為周期測量老化率.MEMS振蕩器顯示大于1ppm的頻率跳躍(短期穩(wěn)定性),并未建立長期的趨勢.石英振蕩器的數(shù)據(jù)點(diǎn)最大變化為0.26ppm.
短期穩(wěn)定性我們選取了日本進(jìn)口晶振同樣頻率的石英振蕩器和MEMS振蕩器,在25°C條件下,每隔0.1秒測量一次調(diào)整偏差,總共八分鐘.頻率變化以一次讀數(shù)引用的ppm顯示.石英振蕩器的變化量小于±0.02ppm(20ppb).試驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)表明石英振蕩器和MEMS振蕩器的設(shè)計(jì)和特性不一樣.MEMS器件中的低Q值會(huì)導(dǎo)致頻率變化.MEMS振蕩器的ppm的快速變化表明溫度補(bǔ)償電路在時(shí)刻根據(jù)諧振器溫度變化而變化.PPL電路中的數(shù)字變化,用于校正頻率.石英振蕩器有更好的Q值,并且不需要數(shù)字校正信號(hào),因此短期穩(wěn)定更好.試驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,石英振蕩器的短時(shí)穩(wěn)定性優(yōu)于MEMS振蕩器,并且石英振蕩器的Q值高MEMS硅晶振,愛普生石英晶振Q24FA20H0017200

然而,隨著溫度的上升,MEMS振蕩器的鎖向電路以離散步驟調(diào)整頻率,頻率溫度曲線圖呈鋸齒狀曲線.此現(xiàn)象表明當(dāng)溫度上升,MEMS振蕩器切換到溫度補(bǔ)償,導(dǎo)致頻率跳躍,不穩(wěn)定.在溫度補(bǔ)償方面,石英晶體振蕩器中TCXO使用了模擬溫度補(bǔ)償和簡單的溫度補(bǔ)償電路來實(shí)現(xiàn)從-40到+85°C,溫度偏差在±1ppm以內(nèi),并且頻率不會(huì)跳躍.TCXO最低的溫度偏差可達(dá)到0.1ppm.
電子設(shè)備和通信系統(tǒng)設(shè)備的振蕩器選擇工業(yè)級(jí)晶振是影響系統(tǒng)性能的主要因素.目前振蕩器有兩種:
石英晶體振蕩器是由石英晶體的基本結(jié)構(gòu)構(gòu)成,和一個(gè)簡單的振蕩器電路.
